Where does my money actually go?

Tag a surfer and your donation is allocated to that surfer's fund and counts toward their campaign. Back the club instead and it isn't ringfenced — it covers travel, gear, coaching and running costs across all our surfers. Either way, Umzumbe Surf Club takes no admin fee — only PayFast's standard payment-processing fee is deducted.

Who processes my donation?

Donations are processed by Surf For Lives NPC, our partner charity, on behalf of Umzumbe Surf Club. Payments clear into their PayFast and bank accounts and are passed on to fund the surfer you backed.

Can I get a refund?

Donations support a named surfer and are generally non-refundable. If something went wrong with your donation, get in touch via our contact page and we'll help sort it out.

What if a campaign over-funds?

Funds raised beyond the goal stay in the named surfer's general fund (next contest, replacement gear). Never pooled to the club's general account without the surfer/guardian's written agreement.

Is the donation form secure?

PayFast handles all card data — Umzumbe Surf Club never sees your card number. The form operates over HTTPS only.
